well....
...few years back, if someone were telling me that someday I would be having a group of friends of different age groups and from different backgrounds, I would have called it “too weird an imagination”. But today, I find myself in a position incapable of calling it so, and interestingly, am not repenting for not being able to do so. Rather, my first web log is a tribute to the friendship with those whom I have not met in my real life, but who are no less than my real life friends, and with whom, I have been in touch regularly through net for quite some times.
It has been a pleasant experience for me of having met people from different locations of the globe, with whom I found myself to be quite comfortable in sharing my thoughts and ideas. In few cases the formal interactions have taken an informal form, a bond which made me to share my feelings and emotions as well, and I found myself considering them as friend. Such a friendship is mostly devoid of botherations whether it is between an aged and a youth, or between an able and a challenged one, for, I found myself that I never felt the necessity of making a distinction based on age, gender, race, religion, class and culture for being into friendship. It leaves me to wonder if not this friendship be called to be between the human inside me and my friends.
I find my friends to be quite caring, the interactions, being refreshing enough to make me free from the worries and stresses of the real life obligations, are complimenting well enough to the real life interactions with our near and dear ones. Now I find myself cherishing for being friendly with people from every walk of life, being helpful and caring to them, sharing the feelings and emotions, and thoughts and ideas with them. And in my prescription for myself, I include a dose of online interactions.
It would leave anybody to wonder why one finds an online interaction to be a refreshing one.
The otherwise dull landscape of my locality appears to be an amazing one when I take a photograph of it. The same is applicable in online interactions where one gets mazed seeing the framed viewing of personality traits of an online friend. Although, as a human being, a real life friend or colleague is no different from an online friend, a real life personality may carry along a reminder of the responsibilities, which, not necessarily one is interested to have in mind all the times. The movie “Mitr, my friend” addresses it nice.
Without judging whether the way things happen is the right one, one would see that during online interactions a person presents that aspects of the personality mainly which is required for the interaction in concern, and mostly in an impressive way. This urge to present oneself in an impressive way and making conscious effort for the same is a kind of effort for nourishing the friendship. In many real life relations this nourishing aspect vanishes after one feels warranted about the relationship. When one finds such an effort from the friend, it refreshes the mind; and the efforts to reciprocate the same bring in some zest, may bring in some fresher approaches.
The varieties in the available options for online interactions give an opportunity to choose the types of discussions one is interested to involve in, an option frequently missed in real life interactions.
Few beneficial aspects (to me) of online interactions include, developing a habit of speaking out the mind, feeling inspired to gather information and come up with a view to find its acceptance by a few people, however small the fraction may be..

First of all, welcome to blogging, hope I will see more posts from you. As for now, I am adding link of this blog to my blog in 'friend's blog' section.
Coming to this blog-
"Such a friendship is mostly devoid of botherations whether it is between an aged and a youth, or between an able and a challenged one, for, I found myself that I never felt the necessity of making a distinction based on age, gender, race, religion, class and culture for being into friendship."
Very much true when it comes to age difference. When I speak, I somewhat take it for granted that the one I am speaking to is of my age. Even if I know his/her age, it never comes to my mind that I am talking to a person with a huge age difference.
As far as other things are concerned, I never made those differences in real life also :P
wah
:D
khade khade
Very articulately put forward blog i must say and true in all respect.
Nice to see someone writing his heart out regarding this online friendship..
mere bare me kuchh aur pata chalega grr.. :-D
I think JPg I know all this about you.
It is bit interesting when I logged on I-370, in fact peoples told I am an additional profile of Mr. JPg. I’ll make it very clear that JPg you were on pilgrim and people misunderstood me :-p here the age difference was on inverse side because I appeared as oldest possible date on orkut and I maintained it for long time. As time run the difference became accurate and now you are my Gurujee. I’ll reiterate as other people that I too fond of your online advice and really it is very nice to have communication with you, it is quite relaxing.
but JPg apke bare me kuchh aur pata nahi chala is blog se
